A natural basalt arch over the open sea on the south coast, reached by a cane-field track from Le Bouchon. No railings, no shop, almost no one there.

The sea has cut a bridge through the cliff and you can walk across it. Nothing is fenced and nothing is signposted, which is exactly why it is still good. On a big swell the spray comes up through the gap.
Free. From the coast road near Le Bouchon follow the sugar-cane track towards the sea; a normal car copes in dry weather, otherwise park and walk the last kilometre. Stay off the arch itself in wind or heavy swell.
