Casela Nature Park

A large safari-style park under Rempart mountain: zebras, giraffes and rhinos on a drive, ziplines over the gorge, and a good rainy-day option for families.

Why go

If you have children, or a day with weather, Casela fills it. The safari drive is real open ground with African herbivores; the ziplines and the walk-through aviary are the parts adults remember. It is not a Mauritian experience, but it is a good one.

How to do it

Paid entry with add-ons for the safari, ziplines and quad rides; book the day before in high season. Half a day minimum; a full day if you do the activities. Bring sun cover, most of the park is open.
