The longest beach in the north, a crescent of white sand under casuarina trees between Trou aux Biches and Grand Baie. Calm, shaded, and best in the late afternoon.

Mont Choisy is the beach the north deserves: long enough to walk, shallow enough for children, shaded by trees along its whole length, and facing west for sunset. Weekends bring locals playing football on the sand under the trees.
Free. Park along the coast road under the trees. The southern end near Trou aux Biches is quieter. Food vans in the car park at weekends.
